Yoga Tips
- For health reasons, please bring your own mat.
- Please turn off all cell phones and pagers.
- It's best to practice on an empty stomach. If it's necessary to eat, a light snack is best.
- It's good to drink water after class to flush out toxins. You may drink water during class if needed.
- Please do not wear perfumes or other fragrances as they may disturb other students.
- You may feel sore after starting asana practice. This will improve with time.
- Practice a few minutes of meditation daily. Even ten minutes a day will help.
- Consistency is important. Do asana and meditation every day.
- The idea is to be mindful in everything you do whether it is asana, meditation, or chopping carrots.
